In the organizer's words:

Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine has been raging for almost three years . But solidarity with the country, which is fighting for its existence, is crumbling - even in Germany. Some parties are using the issue of peace to gain votes ahead of the general election.

The question of when and how the war can be ended divides politicians and the population. Peace at any price or does Kiev have a say? Should the German government continue to supply weapons in the future? What role should Germany play in the creation of a European security architecture?

The taz also talks to various political representatives about these questions, the everyday lives of people on the ground and the mood in Germany. The war against Russia is a painful election campaign issue - where there are only losers. Is that really the case?
