In the organizer's words:

The film sheds light on the trauma suffered by Armenian children during the Armenian genocide and follows Asadur, who grew up in Malatya (Turkey) and embarks on a search for his suppressed Armenian identity.

Through his personal search for traces, Asadur becomes a symbol of the ongoing struggle for identity in the Armenian community. The documentary addresses the deep traces left by the denial of the genocide and calls for the preservation of collective memories. It invites the audience to reflect on the past and its lingering effects in order to pave the way for reconciliation, understanding and a respectful approach to history.
