Ateliersession- Music & Light in HALLE 6 presented by Wien München Kollektiv, Saturday 21.06.25 /admission 7 pm

Art event incl. concerts*barrier-free!

A total of 13 musicians & artists have joined forces as the "Wien München Kollektiv" and invite you to the international artists' studio house, HALLE 6 (Dachauer Straße 112 D, 80636 Munich). A perfect occasion to network and exchange ideas with creative minds from Munich and Vienna while listening to a diverse music program. You can expect a convivial evening with live music acts from the genres of indie pop, dark rock, post punk & visual backdrops designed for the evening by VJ Monkeyman from Vienna. Light art by Munich artists will also be on display. The after-show act ATOMSTAAT (drone rock//acid rock incl. video art by JDB Records from Vienna) will bring the evening to a close with a studio session via Instagram:

PAAR (Post Punk//Cold Wave, Munich)

Under the name PAAR, Ly Nguyen, Rico Sperl and Matthias Zimmermann create a sound that combines cool precision with an oppressive atmosphere and electronic directness. Their music thrives on contrasts: precise guitar riffs, driving bass and pulsating synth pads meet stoic drum machines. Words - coolly formulated, almost distant - unfold above them like another instrument that blends seamlessly into the dense soundscape. Die Notwendigkeit der Notwendigkeit, their debut album, is not a retro gesture, but a stylistic stocktaking: dark, clear, uncompromising. It is reminiscent of the eighties, but sounds like now - with a matt sheen, cold tension and emotional depth. PAAR translate isolation, friction and movement into sound. A sound that remains - physical, concentrated, present.

INK (Dark Rock//Cross Genre Mix, Munich)

The newcomer rock band from Munich released their first self-produced EP "Me Again" in April. With their cool, melodic and at the same time dynamic sound, the band presents their own acoustic image of life in a big city and the associated personal experiences from interpersonal relationships. The DIY band is influenced by rock musicians from the 70s_80s_and 90s. INK loves variety live, which is why they like to add a dose of skate punk, grunge or pop to their dark rock. Laurenz Wolf (guitar), Margo Alder (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Elder Santos (drums) founded the band in 2023. The band has been active together with Mathias Hansel (bass) since 2025.

In 2025, the musicians from the Pause project are performing as the indie pop band K.S.P. - finally in Munich too. Founded in Vienna and lyricized in German, they explore their own abysses. Melancholic swaying along allowed!

ATOMSTAAT (Acid Rock//Drone Rock, Vienna)

The experimental duo from Vienna creates soundscapes with synthesizers, bass and drums, accompanied by large-scale projections. ATOMSTAAT (since 2020) are: Matthias Langer on drums and Hannes Buchwieser on bass, effects and synthesizers. Insider tip: The special highlight of the program is the video art projection to the music of Hannes Buchwieser under the name JDB Records!
