An interactive search for traces through the Hansaviertel with Christine Rollar.
The sculptor and environmental activist Ben Wagin was already considered a legend in Berlin during his lifetime. He lived in the Hansaviertel and planted his first tree at the Kaiser-Friedrich-Gedächtniskirche in 1967. This was followed by 50,000 more trees and monumental murals, with which he made not only a visual but also a political statement. He got involved, was uncomfortable and took a clear stance. We invite you to get to know his radical and multi-layered work. Together with the actress Christine Rollar, we will go on an interactive walk through the Hansaviertel - a lively search for traces in the spirit of Ben Wagin.
