AUFTAKT 2025 - Meet & Greet für Musiker*innen und Musikbegeisterte

Strengthening the music scene in Dortmund and the Ruhr region together

On Sunday, January 12, 2025, we invite musicians and music enthusiasts to the Heimathafen Dortmund (Nansen) at 4:00 pm for the kick-off 2025. Together we want to promote the regional music scene. Among other things, the focus will be on the question: How can we strengthen the independent scene? We will address key topics in a panel discussion:

- How can musicians, promoters and music enthusiasts network and work together to create more concert opportunities for regional acts?
- What does it take to achieve more reach together?
- How can we support each other and become better?

With statements from Martin Buschmann (Musiksyndikat Ruhr), Didi Stahlschmidt (Dortmund. Macht. Lauter), Marc Debie (Kulturbüro Stadt Dortmund), Judith Kesper (Laut & Lästig) , David Bartelt (Musikvideokino) , Oli Pilsner (Harbour Sounds), Sebastian Lindecke (Bunt oder Blau) and Tommy Finke (Theatermusik.de/Bochum). Moderation: Hans Blücher.

In addition to exciting impulses and intensive exchange, the event also offers the opportunity to get into direct conversation and make new contacts. The musical highlight will be a live performance by Dortmund singer/songwriter George Major.
