The travelling exhibition "30 years of conversion - when a landscape is demilitarized" curated by Christoph Janssen, Andreas Krüger and Winfried Sträter (AG 30 Jahre Konversion Döberitzer Heide) can now be experienced at the Döberitzer Heide Nature Experience Centre! We invite you to discover the Döberitzer Heide landscape from different and new perspectives from April 11 to May 11, 2025. How have man and nature shaped these landscapes in the past? What changes have taken place and what challenges await us today and in the future?
The exhibition "30 Years of Döberitzer Heide Conversion" offers unique insights into the history of the Döberitzer Heide and the demilitarization after 1990 - with informative texts and impressive historical images. With lectures and excursions into the heath by experts from the Heinz Sielmann Foundation, the nature experience center offers an exciting accompanying program that links the history of the use of the Döberitzer Heide with the nature and species conservation measures that have been taking place here since 2004.
