FELI & PEPITA - MIYAKOJIMA

The artist duo FELI & PEPITA, globetrotters rooted in Cologne, are known for their distinctive photography and strong sense of storytelling. Their work is exhibited worldwide; for the summer on our blue wall in the artbooks store!

In search of a hidden history, the artists Feli & Pepita explore the island of Miyako-Jima, at the end of Japan. Documentary and poetic at the same time, their work reveals a surreal reality full of contradictions and brings a new perspective on the peculiarities of Japanese life between Pacific paradise and brutalist architecture. In the process, they discover a wonderful symbol of German-Japanese friendship: a medieval German castle under a subtropical sky.
