Ausstellung: I Sought My Soul

In the organizer's words:

A fundamental search for meaning in art. The exhibition "I sought my soul", curated by Anneli Botz and Tiffany Zabludowicz, is dedicated to the longing for orientation in a complex world. It is based on a quote from the English poet William Blake: "I sought my God and my God I couldn't find. I sought my soul and my soul eluded me. I sought to serve my brother in his need, and I found all three: My God, my soul, and thee." 18 artists, including Anne Imhof, Insa Genzken and David Rappenau, shed light on identity in a contemporary reinterpretation of Romanticism.
