Climate change is leading to more and more frequent natural disasters and is causing sea levels to rise. In Bangladesh, where a large part of the country is below sea level, the effects are particularly dramatic.

In Pratab Nagar, in the Shatkira delta, residents live with the tides, which flood their homes for three hours a day. Aquaculture is their main occupation and they build dykes to protect themselves from flooding. The fight against rising water levels has long since become an urgent necessity in this region.
