Ausstellung "Struktur und Farbe"

In the organizer's words:

Art is a process: feeling - processing - reflecting and repeating. In May, Düsseldorf artists Annette Dyba, Marie Holzapfel and Beate Döring present the results of their processes. With the exhibition "Structure and Color", they combine two important tools of art in one exhibition.

Annette Dyba is showing works from her "Strukturwelten" series. In contrast to earlier works, which were primarily informal in style, these feature recurring structures with clear contrasts of light and dark. The repetitive movement is currently important to Dyba in the work process, and she strives for perfection in this.

Beate Döring found her way back to art in a moment of deepest grief - after the sudden loss of her husband. Her paintings and sculptures are a reflection of pain, hope, change and the search for inner harmony. Through her art, she shares her own story with us and creates spaces for personal resonance and emotional connection.

Marie Holzapfel lives in Heerdt and has only been painting for a few years. While her original motivation for painting was to balance out her job, this work has become an increasingly important part of her life. She allows motifs that fascinate her to return again and again in her works and to create space for themselves.
