One Piece, Detective Conan and Studio Ghibli films are cult in both Japan and Germany. Many have grown up with these manga and animation series. Now you have the rare opportunity to see original drawings that brought your favorite characters to life. Around the same time that Andy Warhol developed the concept of "mass production in art", Tokyo Art Space was coincidentally founded in 1983. There, production sketches and storyboards by Japanese manga and animation artists began to be stored and re-evaluated. For the first time in Germany, the exhibition shows 100 original works that served as the basis for well-known anime. They have been authenticated and are also available for purchase.
