The exhibition sponsored by the city of Oldenburg, which opens on the Long Night of Museums, offers an interesting MIX:
Controlled objects, painting, photography, textile art, literature and sculpture and animated images that can be called up via app - all the artistic works, as different as they are, address artificial intelligence (AI for short).
The new association OLDENBURGmeets e.V. which had its successful premiere with OLDENBURGmeets Berlin, is entering its second round and has this time invited artists from Frankfurt, Wilhelmshaven and Bremen: Isabel Friedrich, Bettina Hauke, Patricia Lambertus, Andreas Letzel, Dörte Putensen and Weibach2 (Oliver Neumann) are positioning themselves artistically on a highly topical subject.
The exhibition takes place at Achternstraße 22. The creative interim use was made possible by the agency Raum auf Zeit. Dirk Meyer will speak at the opening.
Another highlight: on 26.09.2024, the architect Matthias Hollwich from New York will give a lecture on AI and architecture from 6 pm at CORE, followed by further discussions on the topic in the exhibition (around 8.15 pm).
The exhibition "OLDENBURG MEETS KÜNSTL(ER)I(S)CHE INTELLIGENZ" can be seen from 21.09. to 05.10.2024 in the RAUM AUF ZEIT at Achternstr. 22.
