About the speaker:

LUO Lingyuan is a German-Chinese writer who studied journalism in Shanghai and has lived in Berlin since 1990. She has published several novels and short story collections and has received several awards. She received the Adelbert von Chamisso Prize in 2007 and the Erfurt City Writer's Prize in 2017. In 2025 she received the literary scholarship from the Stiftung Preußische Seehandlung.
