The B6BBO farewell tour
Lax, delicious disco punk.
What should you do if you missed the 80s, were still too young for the techno clubs of the 90s and are already too old for viral TikTok hits? B6BBO answer this question by embracing the world while never taking it too seriously. With their music, they write the soundtrack of an elusive generation that doesn't really come from anywhere pop-culturally, but feels at home everywhere. The only constants are: A love of intoxication, a healthy dose of self-irony and lots and lots of emotion.
In over 10 years of band history, the 6-piece formation from Berlin has released three studio albums. With their latest album "Vernunft trocknet keine Tränen" (Reason doesn't dry tears), B6BBO say goodbye to the clamorous attitude of earlier years and focus on a simple but convincing concept: solid German indie rock, but with horns! At heart, however, they remain the same Hallodris, who have certainly become rounder and older, but not necessarily smarter, and who continue to elevate gut decisions to the maxim of life.
The guys from B6BBO want to make room for something new, for further development, for new projects. For this reason, Schmetterlinge mit Bauch announced their dissolution at the beginning of the year and are saying goodbye to all the wonderful people, festivals and places that have accompanied them on this journey with a kind of farewell tour entitled "Lasch, lecker, Diskopunk". The grand finale will then take place with a tear-jerking musical firework display at the truly irrevocable final farewell concert on 24.01.2026 in the Festsaal Kreuzberg (FeSaKreu). Anyone who doesn't come along is simply embarrassing and will be shamed by their children and grandchildren.
