Baby Volvcano: New EP, new show.

Baby Volcano is a Swiss-Guatemalan artist who has already shaken up the Swiss underground scene with her debut EP "Síndrome Premenstrual" (2021). Her new EP SUPERVIVENXIA combines hybrid pop, experimental reggaeton, Latin and chanson with an excellent punk attitude. Trained in contemporary dance and performance in Buenos Aires, their live shows are avant-garde and explosive. Baby Volcano sings and raps from angry to almost tender and always makes clear statements. Her French and Spanish lyrics are feminist declarations of war and leave no doubt as to who is making the demands here.

After appearances at festivals such as Roskilde, Paléo, Bad Bonn Kilbi and a nomination for the Swiss Music Award, there is now a release tour for the new EP. The title SUPERVIVENXIA is a mixture of the Spanish words "sobrevivencia" (survival) and "supervivencia" (super-living) and embodies the essence of the EP: living life to the full and embracing both its sadness and its joyful madness.
