backfertig - OPEN STAGE #2

In the organizer's words:

SENECA INTENSIV invites you to the 2nd edition of the backfertig OPEN STAGE!

Are you an artist from the fields of dance, physical theater, drama, music, circus or other moving performing arts?

Are you a professional, a beginner or something in between when it comes to producing your own work, are you just about at the end of your rehearsal process and would like an audience to try out your ideas? Then you've come to the right place!

When: 2nd edition, Saturday, May 24, 2025

Where: SENECA INTENSIV Studios - Georg Knorr Straße 4 | Haus 10 |12681 Berlin

Registration deadline: Thursday, 15.05.2025 // 11.59 pm

The frame

• Your contribution should be between 2 and 10 minutes long.
• Depending on the length of all pieces, 8 - 12 works can be shown.
• The number of performers on stage does not matter.
• The stage has 180 square meters, is completely white and has a column in the middle.
• Please keep the entire day free for your stage rehearsal.
• Our team will take care of sound & light. However, due to the number of people involved, there is no time for elaborate light and sound rehearsals. Keep it simple!
• There is room for about 100 spectators. The evening will be advertised by us on social media. We look forward to your support!
• Afterwards there will be the opportunity to talk to the audience and the other artists in a moderated feedback format.

• To view the work, we ask you for a simple rehearsal video. IMPORTANT: Please in the form of a Youtube or Vimeo link - please NO wet transfer!
