BACKTRONAUTS - 80s melancholy in the here and now

Classic synthesizer sounds carry the melodies of the live cello played by Andy Ringaga, composer and head of sound for the band. Pete Strongarm lives up to his name and contributes the supporting beats on the drums, while Robin Drinal's guitars wander between distorted rock riffs and clean licks. The expressive baritone of lead singer Chris Fieldhad lays his lyrics over melancholy vocal lines.
A homage to the 80s, the BACKTRONAUTS spaceship docked in the musical present.
The band creates a multi-layered, dynamic sound experience and touches - emotionally and energetically.

ANDY RINGAGA (cello, vocals) works as a professional musician in various projects and composes in his own recording studio.

PETE STRONGARM (drums) is known as an ARD presenter on TV and radio, once sang with the Strandjungs and enjoys drumming a lot in various bands.

ROBIN DRINAL (Guitar, Vocals) is known throughout Germany for his solo performances and as a singer in various bands.

CHRIS FIELDHAD (lead vocals) creates cross-media music in various industries and writes the lyrics.
