Halfblind Henry sounds as if he grew up in London in the sixties and seventies and had previously spent a hundred years in the southern states. The list of musicians who have inspired him is long. He draws from all sources of Anglo-American song tradition, but is not bound to any genre and is always open to experimentation and unexpected twists. Halfblind Henry is a musician and storyteller. He observes his surroundings and processes his impressions into lyrics that can be profound, sarcastic or surreal.
At his concerts, he mainly plays his own pieces, but always has exciting souvenirs from his extensive forays through music history in his luggage.
