The most exciting stories in the world begin at the station, as resolute ticket seller Rosemarie Gleisberg knows. After all, she has been working here for half an eternity, at her counter in the cozy backwater of Nowhere. Whether it's an adventure trip across the South Seas to the end of the world or just a banal business trip to Bielefeld - anyone leaving their home turf will find a treasure chest full of stories along the way... and Rosemarie Gleisberg is waiting for every single passenger to tease the most hilarious stories out of them. But times are changing. Fewer and fewer passengers are coming. The work has become lonely.

So, accompanied by two peddling musicians, she contemplates the past and remembers the adventures the passengers once told her about. Despite all the melancholy, Rosemarie Gleisberg holds her ground at the abandoned station and provides a good dose of cheerfulness.

You can look forward to chansons about coming and going by Friedrich Hollaender, Hildegard Knef, Jacques Brel and others. You can expect all kinds of musical delicacies, newly arranged - sometimes tender, sometimes powerful, for dreaming and attentive listening.
