Baphofest Summernights

In the organizer's words:

In 2017, in a dark cellar vault in the heart of Würzburg, the foundation stone was laid to revitalize the somewhat dormant black metal scene and to promote more events again. And so the Baphofest was born. As a series of club shows to support the local underground, but also to offer bands from all over a platform to bring their art to the stage. The very first show was very well received and so a tradition was quickly established that was to continue.

After successful years from Club zur Posthalle and the success of the Baphofest Winternights in November, we can now proudly present the Baphofest Summernights. With this one-day festival, we want to bring out the best in the scene and give small bands the chance to share a stage with big names in the genre.
After a long back and forth in the booking process, the line-up has finally been finalized and we don't want to keep you in suspense any longer. New festival, new concept, new sound. On May 24th at the Posthalle Würzburg will be there:

8 years, over 10 editions and now back in a larger format in the Posthalle. There's not much to think about. Let the cult never end and keep this culture alive, because that's the only way to make art timeless. And support the underground, because especially in black metal, there are so many hidden talents in the overflow of bands that deserve to be found, heard and performed live. And this time in the guise of the new school. From young to old and scene veterans, everything is included and offers a nice fusion between newly discovered and old tried and tested.
