Her CDs have been honored with awards, several Jazz Awards and the German Record Critics' Prize, her CD "Take Off" (Verve/Universal) even reached number 1 in the jazz charts and was celebrated as the best-selling jazz album. Barbara Dennerlein is one of the few German artists with an international reputation. She presents herself on her releases and in her concerts as a competent representative of a new generation of jazz musicians and has thus become the protagonist of her instrument, the legendary Hammond B 3 and the pipe organ.
But Barbara Dennerlein is particularly fascinating live. As the most important and most successful German jazz export, she is just as familiar with the big international festival stages as she is with the clubs
