Baron (live)
Although the young rapper and smart TikTok rioter also dances in the video for Ski Aggu's hit "Friesenjung" and has already shared the stage with the Dresdeners from 01099, his heart beats for his hometown of Stuttgart. When Baron's buddy Ski Aggu - the two know each other from their TikTok beginnings - announced that he wanted to become German Chancellor, Baron jokingly asked him if he had his support if he wanted to become mayor. A running gag that won Baron many potential voters, at least on TikTok. This is also where he gained his first fans - and now has over four million views.

But even with his first single "Ich mag Züge", Baron proved that TikTok only plays a minor role in his career. The track "saß" is his most successful release to date, samples a famous meme in the chorus and is a hypnotic mix of trance and rap with a unique style. In the wonderfully crazy video, in which an e-scooter and a man-sized e-cigarette appear, Baron once again shows his TikTok-trained entertainer qualities - and his sense of humor.

Baron rarely needs more than two minutes to make his listeners dizzy with wordplay and get them moving. His sound perfectly captures the current zeitgeist and fits in with the casual border crossers between rap, pop, trap, trance or hyperpop - such as Ski Aggu, Souly, Sampagne, Domiziana or Rin.

In her songs, ildikó slips into a wide variety of roles and tells their stories. But she also writes about her own life, her experiences and feelings from her childhood to the present day. In the song "GUCK MICH NICH AN" she lets out her aggression and says things that she usually doesn't dare to say in real life. She met her producer IANEK in the canteen at her university and the two have been making music together ever since. She is usually inspired by one of his beats and then starts writing.

CHIEF QUEEF is from Stuttgart and loves to combine a mix of ghetto tech and electronic beats with trap vocals in his DJ sets. Let yourself be carried away by the very bass-heavy and energetic sound.

The Sound of Stuttgart - Music Festival & Exhibition powered by Sparda-Bank BW can be seen and heard from February 6 to 16, 2025.
