This creative dance documentary follows the Istanbul dancer and choreographer Mihran Tomasyan through a narrative shaped by his Armenian family history. Interwoven with archival footage collected by the artist and a collectively improvised choreography set to the rhythm of modern Istanbul, the performative film questions the relationship of the body to the political and the concept of belonging. At the same time, it always maintains a hopeful perspective.
