The four-piece British band bdrmm incorporates influences from The Cure, Deerhunter and DIIV. Their music, rooted in the tradition of RIDE and Radiohead, also explores krautrock, post-punk and early shoegaze, touching on bands like The Chameleons and Protomartyr.
Since forming in 2016, bdrmm has built a reputation for energetic live performances, sharing the stage with acclaimed acts such as Fat White Family, Her's and Viagra Boys. Early releases gained traction through word of mouth and coverage from So Young and The Line Of Best Fit. The breakthrough came when Steve Lamacq featured them on his BBC Radio 6 Music Recommends show, attracting the attention of Sonic Cathedral.
Sonic Cathedral re-released the single "C:U" and released the compilation EP "If Not, When?", both of which quickly sold out and garnered praise from new fans and celebrities such as Lauren Laverne, Huw Stephens and John Kennedy.
In June 2023, bdrmm released their highly anticipated album "I Don't Know", showcasing their evolution and musical prowess.
