In her graphic novel "Super-GAU", Bea Davies sensitively tells the stories of eight people in Japan and Berlin whose fates are inextricably linked by the events of March 11, 2011. With impressive drawings and a multi-faceted narrative style, she shows how global tragedies influence personal lives.
The event will include a multimedia reading from "Super-GAU" by comic artist Bea Davies. The subsequent discussion will shed light on the artistic examination of the Fukushima disaster and the multi-layered connections between global events and individual fates depicted in the comic. Afterwards, Bea Davies will sign her graphic novel.
