Concert and clubbing as an all-in-one pleasure? The Trio Repercussion makes it possible - in the eighth edition of BEAT, the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra's somewhat different concert series with its explorations into the unlimited sound worlds of percussion. This time, the Mercatorhalle will become a nightlife temple when virtuoso playing on classical percussion instruments merges with the driving force of energetic club sounds as part of a rousing live performance. With its own songs at the interface of neo-classical music, electronics and drums, Repercussion creates a direct and intense connection to the audience on stage - like a DJ who breaks up the usual situation of a philharmonic concert and opens up new spaces for experience. Listen, feel, join in: This evening releases unimagined energies and appeals to all the senses. At the end of BEAT #08, many will perhaps ask themselves: Was I at a concert or in a club? It is therefore advisable to bring comfortable shoes as well as open and curious ears - just in case you get an acute case of dance rage.
