BED

BED is a band founded in Berlin by Argentinian bassist Sol Astolfi and Chilean singer Nicolás Astorga. After initial experiments, writing sessions and the recording of their first album, they invited the Spanish/German guitarist Jon Brinkmann to join them. At its core, BED is a queer music project with a sound rooted in shoegaze, dream pop and post-punk. The lyrics are sad and sexual while weaving threads of vulnerability and desire, creating a body of work that challenges normative creative expression. This is also evident in the vocals, which are intentionally gender-neutral and represent a fluid identity. The band combines influences from inconic elements of the 90s with ambient and influences from the Berlin rave scene. Their debut album, released in May 2025 on Bretford records, is a delicate yet raw, loud yet dramatic work that belongs to a sensitive audience.
