August 2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of photographer Jupp Darchinger, who accompanied the actors and social developments of the Bonn Republic like no other photojournalist. As a critical chronicler, Darchinger shaped the visual memory of an entire era - from the economic miracle of the Adenauer era to the reunification of Germany. His photographs of personalities such as Willy Brandt and Helmut Schmidt are icons of contemporary history.
The telephone tour offers people who are unable to visit the museum on site the opportunity to view the exhibition "Jupp Darchinger. The Eye of the Republic" from the comfort of their own home.
