RUBEN DIETZE

Ruben Dietze has already conquered the hearts of indie pop fans in recent years as songwriter and singer of the trio "5 Minuten Liebe", with the help of producer Helge Preuß (Lewis Capaldi, Silbermond). Now he returns with his solo album "Comfortzone" and delights us once again.
With his mix of house, RnB and hip-hop, Ruben Dietze has created a sound somewhere between James Blake and Stromae that pushes the boundaries of indie pop. Digitalization, isolation, excessive demands and self-alienation are the major themes of our time that shape his lyrics, albeit always told with a gentle smile and a subtle wink.
For "Comfortzone", Ruben traveled across southern Europe to collect sounds and noises that he could integrate into his music. The result is an album that takes us on an unexpected journey and inspires us to listen to the world around us with new ears. The time has come in fall 2023!
Live the whole thing will be realized as a duo together with Nic Knoll on drums, backings and live electronics and Ruben on keys and lead vocals.

BELQIS

Never heard of BELQIS ? One thing is for sure: not only their name [pronounced "bell-keys"] is unique, but also their music. English and German lyrics, melancholic but upbeat, dreamy and yet self-confident, mystical and sexy: BELQIS combine the seemingly contradictory with ease in their music. With her unmistakable voice and clever lyrics, she captures the essence of life, love and the adversities of this world. Pigeonholing and genre boundaries? Nothing for BELQIS. She mixes urban beats with pop arrangements, indie songs and delicate harmonies with epic orchestral instruments. The result: a wide-ranging, unconventional and, above all, high-contrast sound with rough edges.

Whether as a duo, trio or with a full band: live, the Frankfurt-based artist impresses above all by bringing an incredible calm to the audience and creating an intense experience. With her German-English repertoire, she has already played at festivals such as the Maifeld Derby, KROA Festival, Karben Open Air and Trebur Open Air. At event formats such as Fem*Night Frankfurt or Female Sounds Hanau, BELQIS creates visibility for female artists and shows with her music the beauty and strength that lies in musical diversity.
