On July 6th, Berlin will host a rare and unforgettable musical experience:
Ben Caplan, the genre-defying troubadour with the voice of a tempest and the soul of a poet, returns for his only European performance of 2025.

In the intimate setting of PANDA Platforma, surrounded by candlelight and close listeners, Caplan will take to the stage with nothing but his voice, a guitar, and an acoustic piano.

Known for his commanding baritone and electrifying presence, Caplan has spent over 15 years carving a path that eludes easy labels. Drawing deeply from Eastern European folk, he fuses tradition with modern harmonies, political and philosophical punch, and theatrical flair.

For this special night, Ben leaves his band behind to present stripped-back versions of his new songs and favourites from past albums. Between songs, he’ll share stories—funny, tragic, illuminating—delivered with the gravity and wit of a born storyteller.

With nearly 2,000 concerts across 27 countries, Caplan’s performances have moved audiences from grand theatres to wild festivals. But in Berlin, he’ll trade spectacle for intimacy.

In der intimen Atmosphäre der PANDA Platforma, umgeben von Kerzenlicht und einem aufmerksamen Publikum, betritt Caplan die Bühne – nur mit Stimme, Gitarre und Klavier.

Caplan ist bekannt für seine kraftvolle Baritonstimme und seine elektrisierende Präsenz. Seit über 15 Jahren beschreitet er einen ganz eigenen musikalischen Weg, inspiriert von osteuropäischer Folklore, aber neu gedacht – mit politischem Tiefgang, theatralischer Intensität und modernen Klanglandschaften.

An diesem Abend präsentiert er reduzierte Versionen seiner neuen Songs und Lieblingsstücke früherer Alben – pur und ungeschminkt. Dazwischen erzählt Caplan Geschichten: humorvoll, tragisch, berührend – und immer mit der Präsenz eines geborenen Erzählers.

Seine Musik führte ihn durch 27 Länder und fast 2.000 Konzerte. Doch an diesem Abend in der PANDA Platforma geht es nicht um Spektakel, sondern um Nähe und Verbindung.
