Benedikt Göb Quartett

The Benedikt Göb Quartet brings together some of the most exciting talents on the contemporary jazz scene. Led by up-and-coming pianist Benedikt Göb, known for his captivating compositions and virtuosic piano skills, the ensemble brings a fresh perspective to compositions by the likes of Duke Ellington, Freddie Hubbard and Joey Calderazzo.
At his side is Luxembourg drummer Pit Dahm, whose dynamic playing and creative sense of rhythm form the foundation of the quartet. The group is complemented by bassist Korbinian Kugler, who lays the harmonic foundation with his sensitive bass playing.
A special highlight of the concert will be the British saxophone virtuoso Sean Payne, who has been invited as a guest musician. With his powerful and expressive playing, he will add an extra dimension to the ensemble and inspire the audience with his musical passion.
Together they will create a unique soundscape that combines classical straight-ahead influences with modern jazz elements.
