Benjamin Eisenberg goes on the offensive. His weapon: humor. In his current program "Humor-Offensive - Reden zur Plage der Nation" (Humor Offensive - Speeches on the Plague of the Nation), he takes witty, satirical and sometimes thought-provoking jabs at the government and opposition, the media and enemies of democracy of all stripes, as well as normal everyday madness.

Representatives of the people without degrees discuss the education plight; the transport network is on its last legs and the banality of stupidity lurks around every corner. But instead of nagging or lamenting, the cabaret artist from the Ruhr region prefers to take a positive stance, because criticism and humor are not mutually exclusive. What else is there to do when the political elite regularly sets such fine targets and constantly provides new templates?

The Bottrop native enjoys interspersing parodies and lets the Habecks and Lauterbachs have their say, as well as former political celebrities who would still like to have something to say. Of course, tabloid topics and the outpourings of the so-called social media are not neglected either. In any case, Eisenberg is not afraid of the zeitgeist, but is happy to take on the comic battle.
