POINTS OF STEEL & aphorisms on satin
In his new program "Pointen aus Stahl & Aphorismen auf Satin", Benjamin Eisenberg once again takes a cabaret swing.
Media, politics, business, enemies of democracy or banal everyday idiots - the Bottrop-based political cabaret artist takes a swipe at everyone who deserves it, and those who are completely hammered are gladly given a second helping.
However, Eisenberg strikes a balance between subtle tips and hard-hitting gags. His analysis of current affairs is critical, but still funny. Of course, his satirical toolbox also contains parodies of well-known personalities when he takes the government to task.
But it's not just military operations, tax evasion, digital espionage or the latest political scandals that the blond-haired man from the Ruhr region tackles, but also social trends and the outrageous behavior of our fellow human beings.
Tough times call for Eisenberg. Hard times demand: Punchlines of steel.
And if that all sounds too highbrow, you can simply look forward to a hot evening in which our nasty enemy images are mercilessly ridiculed.
The press praises:
"A smart, sharp-tongued fellow in the succession of a Dieter Hildebrandt."
(Die Welt)
"Eisenberg is the successful symbiosis of classic cabaret and comedy and simply a refreshing change."
(Badische Zeitung)
"[...] according to the motto 'Wit with brains' - political cabaret as it should be."
(Neue Westfälische)
The audience says:
"Eisenberg hits the political topics razor-sharp and has a brilliant way of bringing them to the man in a humorous way."
(An audience member from Duisburg)
"He positively surprised me and made me laugh and think."
(An audience member from Hattingen)
