Artist couple Tony and Christine travel to the island of Fårö for Bergman Week. Inspired by the spirit of the great directing legend, the two filmmakers want to spend the summer here and write their new screenplays. While Tony, already a celebrated director, makes rapid progress with his work, Christine, 25 years younger, struggles with her story, which is about a filmmaker who meets her childhood sweetheart again on Fårö. Christine's doubts put a strain on the relationship - her bedroom is the one in which Bergman filmed SCENES OF A MARRIAGE - and the boundaries between reality and fiction slowly begin to blur.
