Bergson Metal Fest — Siamese, Tenside, As Time Went By, Barbastella & Secret Act

Now it's time to heat things up - we're finally bringing metal to the former heating plant.

Get ready for hard riffs, deep djent and breakdowns that you'll still be feeling the next day. In the first edition of our Bergson Metal Fest, we're presenting a line-up in the impressive Atrium that's really something: Siamese, Tenside, As Time Went By, the newly founded Bergson Metal band Barbastella and another top secret act will really show you where the frog's hair is.

SIAMESE
The Danish metalcore band has consistently won hearts around the world in recent years. Their latest album "Super Human" from 2019 passed the 15 million streams mark in December 2020. Since then, the band has toured tirelessly around the globe - including with Dead by April, Oceans Ate Alaska, Coheed and Cambria, Dead Letter Circus and many more. As an outstanding live act, SIAMESE are today regarded as one of the most active figureheads of the Danish rock scene.

TENSIDE
Founded in 2005, the band has been delighting an international fan community with their modern metal sound for more than fifteen years, combining influences from metalcore, thrash and industrial metal to create their completely unique and instantly recognizable trademark style. After highly acclaimed albums such as "NOVA" (2013) or "Convergence" (2017) "Glamour & Gloom" (2020), TENSIDE achieved their greatest success to date with the longplayer "Come Alive Dying" released in January 2024 and entered the German Top 100 Album Charts at number 6.

AS TIME WENT BY
As Time Went By stand for modern metalcore with nu-metal vibes: hard, atmospheric and absolutely catchy. With driving riffs, brutal breakdowns and big choruses, they provide the soundtrack for emotional moments of demolition - on record and on stage. Live, the band unleashes pure energy and sweeps every audience away. Modern. Powerful. Unforgettable.

BARBASTELLA

For the first Metal Fest at Bergson, we don't let ourselves get carried away and form our very own metal band. It is named after the pug bat, lat. barbastella, barbastellus, which is at home in Bergson during the winter months. With Barbastella you will experience the birth of a new star in the metal sky. Barbastella is not simply covering songs, but has written songs especially for the Metal Fest, which will be served to you live for the first time in the unbelievably cool atmosphere of the former Kesselhalle.
