Berlin is a mecca for young and creative people seeking freedom, self-expression and artistic opportunities in the city. Always known as a place of openness and sexual permissiveness, the advent of dating apps has added a new component: Getting to know each other quickly and easily via smartphone, which initially eschews direct, personal contact. The popular app "Tinder" in particular has revolutionized dating behavior in the big city in recent years, and the film portrays 10 Berliners using the app. What experiences have they had and what desires and hopes drove them? From a fitness fan looking for a connection in a new city, to two parents-to-be who met via Tinder, to a supposed "ghoster" who reflects on his approach to dating. Unpopular topics such as isolation, loneliness and psychological problems are also addressed openly and unembellished.
