Experience the healing effect on body and soul
Chanting traditional mantras is a wonderful opportunity to connect with our inner self. To this day, Sanskrit provides us with a unique sound system that has the potential to change things on a psychological, emotional, spiritual or even physical level. Words whose sound allows us to connect with the essence of what they describe.
The Cosmic Choir is a Berlin offshoot of the Cosmic Choir originally founded by Gaiea Sanskrit. We meet monthly and learn together beautiful pieces from their rich repertoire. Together we will first practise the pronunciation of the songs; the subsequent singing will be accompanied by instruments.
We will let our minds rest; therefore, it is not about translating the lyrics or even learning a language. The focus of this event is on the experience - feel and discover the power of these powerful sounds for yourself. You don't need to be able to sing or have heard of Sanskrit to take part - a love of new things and a pinch of openness to tradition and your own deep expression are all you need.

Berlin Cosmic Choir
The Cosmic Choir is a monthly singing group in Sanskrit originally founded by Gaiea Sanskrit. The songs selected from her abundant repertoire will have a deeply relaxing effect and transfer you into celestial spheres. We will meet once a month and learn the pronunciation of the texts; our singing will be accompanied instrumentally.
As we intend to put our minds to rest, this gathering is neither about translating the texts nor learning a new language. Instead, we will focus on raising our awareness and coming into feeling the immense power of these mighty sounds.
There are absolutely no prerequisites - In order to participate you only need curiosity and openness for tradition and your own deep expression. Come along and sing with us!
