Berlin Lambada Festival

In the organizer's words:

The Berlin Lambada Festival will take place for the first time from April 18 to 20, 2025 at the Maschinenhaus in the Kulturbrauerei, including workshops, parties and an international lambada dance competition.

In addition to 16 world-famous artists and DJs, dancers who toured the world with the Brazilian band Kaoma in the 1990s are also expected to take part.

After the boom of the northern Brazilian dance style in the early 90s and its subsequent decline, partner dancing, now also known as Brazilian Zouk, has been back in vogue worldwide for several years.

More than 15 couple dance workshops are offered for all levels, beginners are also welcome. The dance teachers are Gilson Damasco, Rhawann & Ingrid Soter, Julia Johann and many more.
