Berlin Wine Festival by Sublime Wine - The festival for everyone who really wants to experience wine

On June 1, 2025, Berlin will become the center of the international wine scene: The Berlin Wine Festival by Sublime Wine brings over 75 independent winemakers from all over Europe, the Middle East and Africa to the capital - with over 350 wines for free tasting.

The festival sees itself as a conscious counter-movement to the industrial wine world: no mass-produced goods, no anonymous large wineries, no marketing without soul. Instead, the focus here is on artisanal wineries that grow their own grapes, vinify them independently and stand for sustainable wine production with genuine conviction. All participating wineries work at least organically, many even biodynamically or regeneratively. The wines presented tell stories - of the terroir, the microclimate and, above all, of the people who produce them with dedication. Unadulterated, full of character and forward-looking, they show how wine can be thought of, made and experienced today.

The Berlin Wine Festival brings people together - through taste, conversation and living wine culture. It creates connections between producers and connoisseurs, between experts and the wine scene, between international wine regions and Berlin neighborhoods.

Sublime Wine - the curating force behind the festival

Sublime Wine is a Berlin wine importer and online store with a clear focus on authentic, European wines beyond the mainstream. Founder Emily Harman works closely with small, independent wineries that focus on regional grape varieties and responsible vineyard management. The platform combines its own exclusive imports with carefully selected wines from friendly Berlin importers - always with the aim of bringing wine to life as a cultural link and promoting a community around conscious enjoyment.

Schedule & highlights● Admission for trade visitors from 11:00, for the public from 13:00

● Tasting until 18:00, followed by an after-party with DJs & dance floor until 21:00

● Tickets for trade visitors are available at a reduced price

Anyone with a ticket has access to the entire trade fair Meet the Makers, taste the stories. Online tickets cost €27 - €30 at the box office.

The founder of Sublime Wine, Emily Harman, brings over 20 years of experience in international gastronomy - from London's River Café to Attica (Melbourne, World's 50 Best). Since 2015, she has been working as a wine educator and consultant under her own label

The Berlin Weinfest by Sublime Wine will bring together more than 75 independent winemakers from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa - with over 350 wines available for open tasting.

This festival is a deliberate antithesis to the industrial wine world: No mass production. No anonymous mega-producers. No glossy branding without soul. Instead, the focus is on artisanal, small-scale wineries that grow their own grapes, produce their own wines, and are deeply committed to sustainable viniculture.
All participating producers work organically at a minimum, with many farming biodynamically or regeneratively.

The wines on show tell real stories - of terroir, of microclimate, and of the people behind them. Unfiltered, characterful, and forward-thinking, they reflect how wine can be grown, made, and experienced today.
