Orpheus, who is prone to infidelities, is forced to free his unfaithful wife Eurydice, who has been abducted to Hades. An opulent film adaptation of Jacques Offenbach's frivolous operetta, full of satirical allusions to the reality of the GDR.

The philandering Orpheus is forced to go to the rescue of his adulterous wife Eurydice who has been spirited away to Hades. This opulent film version of Jacques Offenbach's suggestive operetta is full of satirical jabs at life in East Germany.

Tickets are available online. Tickets always go on sale 3 days in advance, starting at 10:00 am (e.g. on Monday for Thursday). Tickets for screenings on Berlinale Publikumstag (February 23) and for the Uber Eats Music Hall are available from the start of sales on February 10.
