The two Düsseldorfers have been collaborating with each other for two years now, drawing on classic hip-hop elements but clearly outgrowing them. With a great deal of imagination and sensitivity, they combine a raw, expressive and unmistakable voice with a warm, genre-free soundscape. Their latest album snapshots lives up tothe promise of its title and provides unique insights into the personal worlds of these two young talents. Düsseldorf rapper LENNY and Wuppertal producer Olivier Mboma aka viJERA delivered their first collabo single HELIUM in mid-March. Inspired by artists such as MAVI, JDilla, Madlib and MFDoom, the two form their very own interpretation of experimental hip hop as Tomorrow People.
