The coaching scene is booming - at huge events or exclusive retreats, in online seminars, countless podcasts and thousands upon thousands of YouTube tutorials, we can learn to become "the best version of ourselves" - namely the successful version.

With BESSER WERDEN!, Felix Stachelhaus and team get to the bottom of the neoliberal promise of advancement, obsessive self-optimization mania and omnipresent performance imperative of the affluent society. Five musicians from the Berlin new music ensemble LUX:NM, singer Lisa Florentine Schmalz and the a cappella choir DooDooBa! invite you to a unique counseling event. Between motivational training, contemporary music theater and cabaret, BESSER WERDEN! poses the question of what success really is, why we strive for constant improvement and what happiness actually means, between absurd humor and tiefem seriousness.
