laut&lyrik is finally dedicated to what makes our voices resound, the ground vibrate and the air vibrate: the human sound vessel, the body.

More than ever, the new program will be performative, mobile, physical -

We trace the forms of the body, feel its movements and feel for words for what makes us human. Poetry and prose come to life in words and movement and move around the beloved and enslaved body, sometimes turning it into an instrument and sometimes into an object of desire.

From the hymnal verses of Baudelaire to the dark lines of Kaleko and the almost archaic words of Rilke to the thoughts of Kim de l'Horizon, we portray the body in beauty, humor, taboo, destruction and irony. In choirs, with voice, sound and movement, we take the audience on a wonderful journey through the human frame.
