Dietmar W ischmeyer writes books with both hands, speaks radio columns and infuses fresh cells into senior citizens on the ZDF Today show. As soon as a playable piece of real estate stands in his way, he takes to the stage, grimaces at any remaining stupidity present and asks questions that at least take the beautiful and funny sides out of the omnipresent horror. Will mow-free May or rather Dry January save us from extinction? Is our life still a livestream? Is there still quality time on public transport for 49 euros? Are monogamy and sandwiches part of the German culture? Wischmeyer has his new book with him, still hot off the press: >Vergeigt, verkackt, versemmelt<, a portrait of the irritating present on all fronts of everyday life - and at the same time totally crass memories of the traffic light era. It's going to be eerily beautiful.

Katinka Buddenkotte has a lot on her plate and a hell of a lot on her mind. It all has to come out. Lucky for us. When Ms. Buddenkotte isn't writing novels (like her most recent "Eddie muss weg") or touring the country with her solo program, sooner or later she writes shorter and longer. For "Die Wahrheit", taz, titanic, entire plays or half TV shows. Katinka appears wherever she is needed. She gives astonishing answers to questions she has posed herself and thus provides start-up help for all those who face the real challenges of life: How does a broken washing machine become the perfect fitness partner? Does birdwatching give you starry-eyed or just a full-on tit? Is the solution to the gender debate high-percentage? Will a plumbing course help combat the climate crisis? What happens when you get a new identity while fetching bread rolls, and why do we all sleep best with an English village policeman?

The loyal Dortmund-Mitte regular orchestra. The great house band likes to go where it's good musically. Where others are working on their instruments, the four of them keep the rooms open.
