Enthusiasm and dedication to beer led to the idea of dedicating a festival to the drink. It is a drink whose diversity and brewing skills deserve a platform. Following the successful launch of the festival in Hanover in 2013 and the three great beer festivals in Hanover, Braunschweig and Osnabrück in 2014, the most important names in the brewing scene have already gathered at a total of 18 top locations in German cities in 2020. In 2025, new cities and a return to some of the beer festival locations before the coronavirus pandemic await.

At every beer festival, there are numerous regional, national and international beer specialties to discover, which are usually served fresh from the barrel. And because beer is best served with delicious food and first-class musical entertainment, both are of course provided. Various food stalls offer a wide range of dishes, from grilled dishes to selected cheese specialties and Asian dishes.

A varied supporting program, including live music, turns the beer festivals into high-quality and varied events that combine information, entertainment and enjoyment of beer.

OVER 100 BEERS

There are over 100 different types of beer from all over the world to discover at the beer festivals. From sweet, fruity beers to tart, spicy varieties, there is something for every taste. There are traditional craft beers and modern craft beers from small breweries that often experiment with unusual ingredients. The organizers ensure that there is something for everyone and that the beers are carefully selected to provide guests with an unforgettable experience. Whether you are a beer lover or curious, the beer festivals are the perfect place to discover the diversity of the art of brewing and enjoy a glass or two.
