Black gold, shiny steel and golden beer - this combination has made Bochum famous all over the world. Ruhr mining and brewing belong together in the mining district, because underground it was hot, the work was hard and the air was dusty. Steelworkers and miners were thirsty - very thirsty. The breweries made sure that their thirst was quenched!

A city walk with lots of fun!
