BIG|BRAVE's music has been described as massive minimalism. Their barrage of textural distortion and feedback emphasize the frayed edges of their music as well as its all-encompassing weight. The strength of the trio's work lies in their unique artistry, combining elements of traditional folk techniques with a modern deconstruction of guitar music. BIG|BRAVE achieve their colossal sound through minimalist approaches, a skillful understanding of dynamics and an inventive use of percussion and distortion. The trio reconceptualizes what it means to be heavy or minimalist, challenging perceptions with their illumination of painfully overlooked perspectives. BIG|BRAVE's sound on their latest album "A Chaos of Flowers" has blossomed, harnessing powerful emotions with its unparalleled arrangements and intricate spatial economies.

MJ Guider is the pseudonym of Melissa Guion, a multi-instrumentalist, producer and radio DJ from New Orleans, LA. She released her debut EP anonymously via the Constellation Tatsu label before signing with Kranky Records.
