The Birdland Vocal Session is the open stage event for singers. Accompanied by a professional band, everything from jazz, pop, blues, rap and soul to freestyle improvisation is brought to the stage. The Vocal Session has been taking place at Birdland again since March 2016. Whether professional or amateur, everyone is invited to sing and contribute to an exciting and varied program. Singers such as Beate Kynast will open the session and lead through the evening.

Note: Bring a lead sheet to one or two songs, bring lots of friends to cheer you on and perform with first-class instrumentalists to back you up.
