Black and Connect Fest

In the organizer's words:

The Black and Connect Fest is a concert evening for exchanging ideas, dancing and feeling good and specifically serves the empowerment of Black youth in Munich. Music will be provided by the two artists Kokonelle and Wonuola. Of course, you are also welcome to come if you are white.

Kokonelle

Kokonelle is a multidimensional artist with Congolese roots from Kinshasa. She is active as a singer, rapper and songwriter, but also realizes herself and her vision through activist work, visual arts, as an educational speaker and as a curator of art exhibitions.
What makes Kokonelle special is her individual fusion of different genres and languages. Her style is a mix of hip hop, RnB, Afro and soul, in different languages such as English, Lingala, French and German.
This diversity is not only reflected in her voice, melodies and flows, but also in her profound lyrics, which capture a beautiful and wide range of emotions and experiences.

Kokonelle creates a very special atmosphere on stage. With her powerful voice and authentic presence, she captivates the audience and leaves a lasting impression on every stage. She brings not only her musical talent, but also her unique perspective and life experiences that enrich and deepen her art.

Wonuola

Munich-based singer Wonuola is known for her distinctive blend of RnB, Afro and soul that manages to combine both emotional depth and rhythmic energy. Her music is an eclectic experiment of different styles and sounds. Live, she captivates her audience with ease and creates an atmosphere of closeness and energy. Wonuola is an artist who knows how to touch her listeners and conquer the dance floor at the same time.
