Black Velvet Band - Irish Folk

In the organizer's words:

The Würzburg-based Black Velvet Band has played its way into the hearts of live music fans over the past few years. Often described as the "busiest band in Lower Franconia", the guys have played around 2000 concerts in Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg and France.

They bring a trunk full of traditional instruments and three well-sung voices from the passenger compartment. Then they get going:

Rousing rhythms, breathtakingly fast instrumentals alternate with melancholy ballads and have yet to fail to fill any auditorium with enthusiasm. "We will folk you" is the motto, joining in is the order of the day. Their Irish folk is never frontal from the stage but always looks for the spot where the spark is ignited.
